PERMIT APPLICATIONS - Please print form and fax (320) 235-4917 or return to our office. You must also submit a signed Property Owner Waiver if you, as the homeowner, will be completing the work yourself. If you have any questions please contact the Building Department at (320) 235-8311.

Plan Review Fees -
Residential - 40% of permit fee
Commercial - 65% of permit fee
Maintenance Permits
Roofing Permits -
Residential - $30.00 plus state surcharge fee
Commercial - Based on valuation.
Siding Permits -
Residential - $50.00 plus state surcharge fee
Commercial - Based on valuation.
***Residential Roofing and Siding permits also include a .0005 percent state surcharge tax based on valuation.
BUILDING HANDOUTS - All projects listed below require a building permit with the exception of installing a fence or hedge as long as the guidelines are followed.
