and shrubs

All recreational fires/bonfires should be constantly attended by a
responsible adult until extinguished

Keep a fire extinguisher, garden hose, bucket of water or other
extinguishing device nearby

Flames should not exceed 3 feet high or 3 feet around

Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times when near a
recreational fire

Use paper and matches rather than lighter fluid/gasoline to ignite your fire

Check with your local fire department for any other guidelines or
restrictions
